What are your fees and payment options?
My rate for a 45-minute therapy session is $300. The 90-minute intake consultation session is prorated accordingly. Payment is accepted by credit card via a secure online portal.
Are sessions virtual or in person?
I currently practice virtually and all sessions are conducted through a HIPAA compliant Zoom account. Telehealth has been shown to be a highly effective mode of treatment for many emotional and behavioral disorders.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please remember to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. While I understand that cancellations happen for various reasons, this policy is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. You will be charged for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours in advance. If we are able to reschedule this session for another day/time in the same week, I will apply the cancellation charge to the rescheduled session.
Do you accept insurance?
No, I do not accept insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. If you plan to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, here are some questions to ask in advance:
Do I have out-of-network coverage?
Is there an annual deductible that I need to meet first?
Do I need preauthorization?
What percentage do you cover for out-of-network mental health providers?
Is there a specific claim form that I must use to submit for reimbursement?
